Ava is a Junior at New Providence High School in New Providence, NJ. She founded COPE in 2024 with a vision to create a compassionate community that prioritizes mental health and supports those in need through empathy and action. An active student-athlete, Ava competes on the varsity cheerleading and golf teams. When she's not leading COPE or cheering on the field, you'll find her spending time with friends, diving into a good book, or enjoying time with her brother Ethan and her parents.
I enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends, and going on adventures. As the Vice President, I support the leadership of the team by actively participating in meetings and contributing to group discussions. I assist in maintaining organization within the club to ensure meetings run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, I represent the club in a professional manner and help foster a positive, inclusive environment for members.
I am the Secretary of the COPE club. I love kids, and COPE is especially important to me because of my Nana. My Nana had stage 4 cancer, and she lost her hair due to chemo treatment. Losing her hair was extremely difficult for her, so she bought wigs and hats. She loved her wigs, and she looked beautiful in them. It was such an amazing experience to see my Nana happy in her wigβ knowing that we can help young girls' build their confidence is something beautiful. I take minutes during the meetings, I make sure everyone who attends the meeting is signed in, and I talk with Ava (the president) about possible dates for fundraisers. Every meeting is meaningfulβ we get right to the point, and we all work together as a team to come up with ideas. COPE is not just individual based, it is about working together to put others needs before us.
As Treasurer of the COPE Club, Olivia manages and tracks all donations that support our mission of spreading awareness for children with hair loss. She oversees fundraising efforts throughout the year, with a major focus on our annual Cut-A-Thon. Through this role, she helps ensure that all contributions are organized, transparent, and used to make a meaningful impact.

We're grateful for our partnerships with local businesses and organizations that support our mission:
Every dollar helps us create wigs for those in need, visit children in hospitals, and build a more compassionate community. Your generosity makes a real difference.
